The most effective way of improving the numeracy of students throughout the school is through using an on-line tuition service that allows students to work individually at home, during after-school clubs and in the lunch break, as well as in their normal maths lessons.

All the information about the work that the students do in the one-to-one on line system is fed back to the head of maths or other designated person, thus allowing school managers to see exactly what impact the service has on levels of numeracy throughout the school.

Our Academic staff have provided Learning Paths, Study Plans and GCSE Revision Guides for students  to be found Students and Teachers Areas.  These are proving to be of immense value to NQTs that are asked to take maths classes during periods of staff shortages.  This also applies to Supply teachers who have a different specialism to maths.

The program developed by ConquerMaths follows the National Curriculum for maths at levels 3 and 4 but allows pupils and students to work at their own speed, without feeling the pressure of keeping up with, or being held back by, the whole class. In this way the needs of the individual student can be catered for without disrupting the daily classroom work of the Maths Department.
